Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Programs - CORE PLUS
State Competitive Grant
 
Purpose:
  • Increase the quality and rigor of secondary career and technical education in support of Aerospace/Manufacturing occupations.

  • Develop knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for industry employment.

  • Expand access to and awareness of the opportunities offered by high quality career and technical education, and;

  • Create an aerospace/manufacturing pipeline to employment which utilizes an organized program of study.

  • Provide for Professional Development of Instructors to better deliver Aerospace/Advanced Manufacturing instruction.

  • Provide funds to defray the costs of consumables and other maintenance of the Core Plus Program.

  • Work with SkillsUSA Washington or another relevant CTSO to develop a Capstone project through competition.
